This year's end of the year trip will be a QUINIPET. There will be a monthly payment scheme that will help you save for this event.
Below are some of the highlights during the past Quinipet experience.
Last May 28-30, a group of 24 students from the 7th and 8th grade participated in this year end-of-the year trip at Camp Quinipet in Shelter Island, Long Island, NY. The combination of structured and unstructured experiences made it unique and forgettable.

Camp facilitators took charge of the following fun, learning, and experiential activities such as the team building activities, rock climbing, marine archaeology, primitive tools, kayaking, aquaculture, orienteering, and direct contact with some birds of prey.
Aside from these, students will never forget bonding experiences such as riding the minibus in the ferry, taking responsibilities in the cafeteria, bunking up together with peers in the cabins, morning exercises, campfire and smores, group and individual talent show, tether-ball competition (shout out to the undefeated Brennan R.), group jigsaw puzzle, sports free time with Dan, photography session and sea shell collection with Megan, karaoke sing along (thanks to Ram's karaoke machine), and the production of a "Harlem shake" video.
To sum it up, these comments from the students were overheard: "I hope this camp was for a week" and " I wish the others were also here to experience this".
INFORMATION SENT TO PARENTS:
Dear 7th and 8th Grade Parents/Guardians,
The annual end of the year trip aims to enhance/apply all the students’ learnings in real life situations and at the same time celebrate our students’ giftedness through camaraderie and fun.
For this reason, we have chosen Camp Quinipet and Retreat Center in Long Island (www.quinipet.org). This nature camp is an opportunity for your child to experience a different environment from the concrete jungle of New York City. It is a beautiful outdoor learning facility that will help your child discover and understand ecosystems and geology. Their program consists of a series of problem-solving activities designed to involve a group physically, mentally, and emotionally. There will be a low ropes course, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, a talent show, and science labs related to the ecosystem. All these are aimed to realize individual potential through teamwork.
